Rakasta miniatures?

Weird red metals, dominions, immortals, hollow planets, invisible moons, and a lot of glorified magic zeppelins. It's all here.

Rakasta miniatures?

Post by GMWestermeyer » Sat Feb 16, 2019 1:46 am

I have some Tabaxi minis that work just fine for most purposes. But I'm looking for some miniatures of rakasta mounted on sabertooth tigers, like in X1 or X2. 3d printed progrms would work as well. :)

WotC did a couple of Catfolk miniatures.

There is also the Bastet line from Crocodile Games: https://www.crocodilegames.com/store/it ... owStart=25

I haven't been able to find anyone of Catfolk or Rakasta mounted on Sabertooth Tigers.

I did a quick search for Sabertooth Tiger Rider minis in general thinking maybe you could replace the head of a human rider with that of a rakasta, but I didn't find any human sabertooth tiger riders either so far....

In the world of Iron Kingdoms from Privateer Press, the sabre toothed tigers are called ferox. They are mounts for the skorne, which are basically hobgoblin equivalents in the Iron Kingdoms.

So a head swap could be done. Or just mount some tabaxi on them instead.

Printable Heros have something called a Rakshasa (in various colour schemes).

They have a Patreon, so if Mystara fans sign up and ask for a Rakshasa riding a tiger, it might happen. :)

Didn't Reaper had such a metal figure? I remember it vaguely a few years ago(6+)

There are a few sabre toothed tigers with barbarian riders in the Mirliton Miniatures fantasy range (they were formerly produced by Grenadier). Being barbarians though, there is too much skin on show for an easy head swap. Range can be found here though: http://www.mirliton.it/index.php?cName= ... barbarians
