Yes, a little bit of adaptation is required to run them with SWSE, but anyway you have most of the job already done. :)

Well... I agree that the real world isn't class based (in the D&D sense, at least...) but Star Wars characters can be described quite well with classes (Jedis, Scoundrels, Nobles, Scouts and Soldiers). In general I don't like class-based rulesets, but I think for Star Wars they fit pretty well.

Indeed. Star Wars heavily employs stock characters, so that a class based game actually fits better than in other genres. And each class is generic enough to support a variety of characters.
