Baba Yaga as a 13th Age icon

Post by Tim Baker »

Here's a new 13th Age icon write-up for Baba Yaga. Even if you don't play 13th Age, the way the icons are described can help flesh out NPCs and their factions. If you use the icon relationship mechanics, which are independent from other subsystems and easily ported into D&D or other games, you can immediately tie your PCs to the setting and its movers-and-shakers.

It sounds like a good choice, from her actions in the setting, though I don't know the Icon mechanics in any detail.

Wade Rockett does a nice job of summarizing how the mechanics work in this post: https://koboldpress.com/midgards-icons-for-13th-age/
