Lake Gloomy is a town on the fringes of the Dismal Swamp, and the seat of the barony of the Lakes.

Thank-you for the feedback. 'Gloomy' is a town as shown on the Blackmoor campaign map (at least by the 3rd edition era). To me and my head canon, I imagine people would refer to the whole swampy region as 'The Gloomy.' A local sobriquet, if you will.
