Brick Monsters is here!

Post by dulsi »

Brick Monsters is a combination of a Monster Manual and building instructions for Lego bricks. My goal is to include two different designs for the same monster along with suggestions of alternate possibilities if you don't have the needed pieces. It will also include monster stat sheets in some systems.I've been doing Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 and 5th edition but that might not always be the case.

Right now Aboleth and Otyugh are available on drivethrurpg. Otyugh is Pay What You Want. Feel free to take a look. Eye of the Deep should be done soon. This thread has other things I've created. Feel free to chime in there or here if there is something you would like to see done.

You might want to change the product name for the beholder one being that it isn't SRD.

I haven't decided if I should do the beholder. If I do I will rename it. The eye of the deep is from the Tomb of Horrors and is open game content.

You could do the beholder on DMs Guild, if you wanted to use the name.

Yes but also no. I could use the beholder name. I could create new beholderkin. I could use a smaller stat block that you might see in an adventure for a beholder. Recreating a beholder monster manual page probably wouldn't qualify for what they allow. Not to mention if I did that I can't use 3.5 stats.
